Officials with the Mississippi Highway Patrol report that one person was killed in a pre-dawn crash Wednesday morning.

The crash reportedly occurred at approximately 5 a.m. on U.S. 84 near Magnolia Hill Road.

According to MHP, a Nissan Altima and a Dodge Ram truck were involved in the wreck that killed one person.

No other injuries were reported in the wreck.

The westbound lanes of U.S. 84 were closed for more than an hour.

The cause of the crash is currently under investigation.
