Three MIssissippi men arrested in June drive-by shooting

Three men have been arrested in connection with a June drive-by shooting.

Willie Johnson, 49; Jermaine Johnson, 46; and Calbert Cosby, 22, were taken into custody on September 26. The three men from Vicksburg were arrested Thursday in connection to a June 7 shooting that left a 25-year-old man injured.

The shooting occurred in the 4100 block of Washington Street. Officers responding to the scene found a wrecked vehicle and the victim, Devontay Knight, suffering from a gunshot wound.

Willie Johnson and Jermaine Johnson have both been charged with drive-by shooting and aggravated assault with a firearm. Their bonds were set at $225,000 each. Cosby faces the same charges, with his bond set at $250,000.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
