Mississippi officials say they are looking for a cattle rustler who has been on the run for more than a year after stealing five cows.

WTVA in Tupelo reports that Eric Seideman is wanted in Noxubee County on five counts of grand larceny.

Officials say the cows were stolen from a cattle farm in Shuqualak, south of Macon.

Officials say cattle thefts have been on the rise in Mississippi. Each cow or bull can be worth several thousands of dollars.
