Mississippi authorities are searching for clues after a body was found in a burned vehicle over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend.

The remains of the body were found Friday in the back seat of a 2009 Honda Accord on Glen Erin Street in Jackson.

Jackson Police have not identified the body, which they report as being found in the back seat of the vehicle.

The incident is being investigate by the Jackson Police and the Hinds County Coroner’s Office.
