Officials: Mississippi woman exploited vulnerable adult, charged $9,000 on their credit card

The Oxford Police Department responded to a report of credit card fraud on Lyles Drive on December 12, uncovering more than $9,000 in unauthorized charges made using the credit card of a vulnerable adult.

Following an investigation, authorities arrested 29-year-old Hannah Russell of Oxford. She has been charged with exploitation of a vulnerable adult.

Russell was booked into the Lafayette County Detention Center, where the Mississippi Department of Corrections placed a hold on her.
