Mississippi made headlines last week when a man spotted an abnormally large catt in a field near a fast-food restaurant in Hernando.

That was one of a few reports of cougar spottings that led Memphis TV reporter Scott Madaus to north Mississippi in search for the big cat.

What happened next was pure magic as Madaus’ live shot featured a dramatic pan, zooming in on a calm house cat just doing house cat things.
