Tupelo Mugshots will no longer air NFL games due to anthem protests

Mugshots Grill & Bar in Tupelo, Miss. announced they will no longer air NFL games or NFL related broadcasts after they deemed the National Anthem protests “disrespectful.”
The Tupelo franchise posted on their Facebook page stating that this stance was their own personal one, and not the company’s.
“To our much appreciated customers,
The Mugshots brand is spread across multiple states with an operating structure consisting of different owners and franchisees. Our views do not represent the views of the other locations, owners, or franchisees in any way.
Thanks for your patronage,
Mugshots Tupelo”
The decision has gotten mixed reviews from customers to say the least.
This isn’t the first case of a Mississippi restaurant boycotting NFL games due to the anthem protests, as Fox’s Pizza Den in Brookhaven made a similar statement a few weeks ago.
