Oxford native Claire Howorth is taking on a big job with her new role as a deputy editor at Vanity Fair—the magazine where she got her start more than a decade ago.
Howorth, who joins VF after spending nearly four years with TIME Magazine, is returning to the publication at a time of significant transition with recent staff restructuring that cut several top editors.
The daughter of Square Books owners Lisa and Richard Howorth, Claire grew up in Oxford and attended college in Colorado. She joined Vanity Fair as an editorial associate in 2006 and has written for several national publications.
