Brookhaven woman wins St. Jude Dream Home giveaway

A Brookhaven woman just won a new house as part of a statewide fundraiser.
Lou Robison of Brookhaven is the winner of the 2019 St. Jude Dream Home, the organization announced Friday.
The drawing took place live on WLBT.
The custom-built, four-bedroom, three-and-a-half bathroom home built by Deep South Custom Homes in Rankin County is valued at $575,000.
Money raised from the giveaway helps St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and its mission of finding cures and saving children. The organization has more than 40 home giveaways across the country.
Other winners announced:
• John Parker, of Jackson, won a $2,500 VISA gift card.
• Connie Wingo, of Carthage, won a $10,000 shopping spree.
• Denise Jenno, of Brandon, won a backyard BBQ experience including a Bull Angus grill, cart and cover, a Memphis BBQ package and a $1,500 Bass Pro Shops gift card.
• Scott Leber, of Brandon, won gas for a year, valued at $5,000.
