Two murder suspects reportedly escaped the Holmes County Jail at approximately 2 a.m. Monday.
The inmates who escaped are Darren Clark from Jackson and Antony Fisher from Hinds County, Jackson media reported.
Sheriff’s deputies said the pair climbed through a ceiling and over a barbed-wire fence.
The pair were housed in the same cell.
Clark was recaptured at approximately 7 a.m., just five hours after he escaped.
Clark is charged with the capital murder of a Jackson minister who was killed in January.
Fisher is charged with the murder of a 75-year-old woman from Pickens.
