Coast Guard, good Samaritan rescue 11 people after boat capsizes in Mississippi Sound

U.S. Coast Guard rescue crews and a good Samaritan on a personal watercraft rescued 11 people Saturday in the Mississippi Sound after their boat capsized approximately 2 miles from shore.
A distress call was placed with the U.S. Coast Guard that a boat had capsized.
The Coast Guard dispatched a 45-foot boat and crew. The crew rescued five people from the water and a good Samaritan on a personal watercraft who was nearby when the boat capsized rescued six others.
No one was reported injured when the boat capsized.
