A $5,000 reward is being offered for information regarding the murder of an 85-year-old Mississippi security guard.
Last week, security guard David Herrin was shot and killed outside an apartment complex. Investigators say the killing appeared to have been made execution-style.
Madison County Sheriff Randy Tucker announced the reward offered by S&S Management Group that operated Guard One Security in Mississippi.
“We are very thankful that Guard One Security has offered this reward,” Tucker said. “It can enhance our investigatory process and assist in arresting the individual(s) who killed someone wearing the badge execution-style.”
Tucker said the investigation is ongoing.
“We have resources working on finding this individual(s) on a daily basis and we are committed to making sure justice prevails. We hope that someone has information regarding David Herrin’s death, and that they will come forward.”
