Two Louisiana police officers were shot Friday, one fatally, New Orleans area media report.

The shootings occurred in Mandeville, Louisiana, on the north shore of Lake Ponchartrain just north of New Orleans.

The officers were reportedly shot after vehicle chase. Two suspects have been detained.
