Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect responsible for stealing nearly $3,000 in merchandise from a Mississippi Walmart.

WTVA in Tupelo reports that the Kosciusko Police Department has shared images of a suspect who is wanted for questioning in the incident.

According to police, a thief managed to steal $2,900 worth of items and left in a dark-colored Chevrolet car from the Kosciusko Walmart.

The theft happened on the morning of Saturday, Dec. 16.
