UPDATE: MBI agents said the Missing/Endangered Child Alert for two Jackson children has been canceled. Both Aaron and Averie Donley have been found safe.

ORIGINAL STORY

The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation has issued a Missing and Endangered Person Alert for two young children from Jackson, Mississippi.

Averie Ann Donley, age 2, and Aaron Lee Donley, age 3, were last seen on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at around 3:30 p.m. in the 3100 block of Longwood Drive, located in Hinds County. Both children have blonde hair and green eyes. Averie is 2 feet 4 inches tall and weighs 46 pounds, while Aaron stands 4 feet 4 inches tall and weighs 56 pounds.

Authorities believe the children are with Jennifer N. Garrett, a 5-foot-4 white female weighing 146 pounds with red hair and hazel eyes.

The MBI is urging anyone with information on the whereabouts of Averie and Aaron to contact the Jackson Police Department at 601-906-7068 or call 9-1-1 immediately. The investigation is ongoing, and no additional details have been released.
