Police are searching for an “armed and dangerous” man who opened fire on two people inside a Mississippi residence – killing both victims.

Officials with the Gulfport Police Department are investigating a double murder that occurred at approximately 7:30 p.m. Tuesday on Graves Avenue.

When police arrived at the scene, they found two deceased victims inside the home with apparent gunshot wounds.

Officers are looking for Christopher Antoine Davis, who they describe as being ‘armed and dangerous.’ Davis is wanted on two counts of first-degree murder.

Davis is described as a 51-year-old man who is about 6′1″ and weighs 175 pounds. Davis has salt-and-pepper hair, a beard, and brown eyes.

The names of the victims are being withheld pending notification of family members.
